Google is currently doing something few companies had the guts to do: spending efforts, time and money in order to speed up the Internet, benefiting billions of web surfers around the world. The speed of the web sites is not only important for the surfer’s well being, but studies have shown that faster sites have better user retention and activity, generate higher revenues and have lower costs.
The Firefox plugin “Page Speed”, Google Public DNS and a new Analytics code were the three major measures taken by Google in the end of 2009 in order to speed up the Internet. If webmasters use all the new Google improvements, they will be able to identify their sites flaws and correct them, thus, helping every Internet user.
Although there is a financial reason behind this, this kind of action actually help everybody, since all the world is based on the Internet nowadays. We hope we can experience some time saving soon with a faster Internet.

Are you using your talents to the best of your abilities? Have you ever thought of using your talents to make your life easier?
I remember when this idea first came across my mind I had a big smile on my face. I could not figure out why there are so many talented people around me and why we were all just doing basic manual labor that monkeys could do. Don’t get me wrong a sometimes we need to do those jobs but when it is not necessary then what? What if you were not really meant to do what you are doing now? What if you were to use your talents to become more in life?
Everyone is good at something. It is in our human nature to have unique things about us that we enjoy but are not often able to really use them to our full potential. Wouldn’t we be living better if we target our talents and then use them to fuel our life instead of putting them on the side and using them as hobbies?
Here are 3 ways we can use our talents to improve our lives.
1. Decide what it is that you enjoy and are naturally good at. Once we make this decision we can then understand our actual position in life to determine if we are living with our talents or living against them.
2. Find out how we can use our talents to support us as well as help others. When we know what we are good at it is best to find a way to help us make money. Doing this is not going to feel like work because when we do what
we want to do as well as do what we are naturally good at, it becomes effortless and even fun.
3. Stop doing the things that go against what we are naturally good at. Living life in one direction is so much easier than trying to live two ways at the same time. When focusing our energy and drive into one direction there becomes no confusion on what it is that we are here for as well as who we really are.
When these simple but powerful steps are applied life becomes easier and we also become more whole as unique human beings. Living better is an option and we just have to have the courage to trust our talents and take a step in the right direction.
