Real self-confidence is when your inner self truly believes and trusts you, overcoming challenges and obstacles. Most people lacks self-confidence in at least a couple of areas of life, turning self-confidence onto something very common for all kind of people. Even well known businessmen, politicians, pop stars and showmen may lack self-confidence!
There are many books and texts willing to teach how to build self-confidence, but most of them have no useful information. Repeating to yourself in front of the mirror that you are great on some of your weakness will not make you more self-confident. Other pretty-to-magical tricks should not work as well.
To feel more confident, you should follow the three following steps:
1. Find out your problematic area. Since self confidence is not something wide general, each person have a different level of confidence in a different area. While you may be extremely confident in using a computer, you might fear public speaking.
2. What are your missing skills? Figure out what are the skills that are missing and preventing you from being confident in a cerain area. Write down these skills and develop them.
3. After you develop the missing skills, your subconscious mind will watch your progress on performing them well some times prior trusting it. When your subconscious mind trust you on performing these skills, you will feel confident.
Do not want to become confident overnight, as it takes a good journey of self-knowledge. Stay focused on identifying and developing your missings skills and you will become confident.
