Go Green The Easy Way

Go Green The Easy Way

As Kermit the Frog says, “It’s not easy being green”. But I have excellent news for you if you really want to go green and hope you can confront Kermit the Frog. In only 3 steps you can go green and what I’ll teach you can also save you hundreds or thousands of dollars along with saving the planet.

There are many things you can do now to be more environmentally responsable, and most of them cost nothing or very little but can pay off really big lowering your consumption on fuel and energy.

The 3 steps are reduce, reuse and recycle.

Reduce

Don’t be wastefull: this is the concept. Most of us were raised not to be wasteful, but day after day it seems we’ve forgotten our childhood lessons as we got older.

You can reduce wasting by doing simple things, such as buying reusable dishwater safe bottle for your water instead of regular water bottles. When you go for grocery shopping, use reusable bags instead of disposable ones.

Try not to drive as much, combine errands whenever possible. Plan out your route so you don’t have to do a lot of backtracking. If you are not good with maps, you can plan your route using a GPS navigator.

Be sure that you aren’t using more fuel than necessary to heat and cool your house. Regulary check if your furnace filters are clean and add insulation.

Of course by reading this some other ideas came to your mind, so I encourage you to share them and take action!

In the next two articles I’ll teach you how to reuse and recycle.

We have a small office in the city and the electricity bill is insane. Tell you what, we have tried to turn off the all the electric juice sucking machines, but not really see much of the difference in the bills. But, one day our plaza electrician told me that they are changing all the LED light tubes outside the plaza. Those LED lights look the same as the old light tube but after that we don’t think we see the electrician for months until people complaint about other problems. We tried using the LED light tubes and we are so damn glad we did. We already have the electric bill saving to pay off the LED lights that we got. Awesome product!!!
